You need:
  • Cornelian cherry,
  • sugar,
  • 1 liter of red wine,
  • half a liter of rum,
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar.

Preparation:

Wine and sugar are put together in one pot to boil. Add to this cornelian cherry and leave it. After 5 minutes, remove from heat. When the mixture cools, strain, pour the rum and insert the vanilla sugar. Stir until all is nicely blended and pour into bottles.

The recipe with vanilla

For Cornelian cherry liqueur with vanilla you will need:
  • 1 kg of cornelian cherry,
  • 1 kg of sugar,
  • ½ rum or brandy,
  • 1 stick of vanilla.

How to make it:

Sugar and water pour into a saucepan, then add the well washed cornelian cherry. Leaving the mixture for 24 h at room temperature. After that, add the vanilla and cook the entire mixture at a moderate temperature for about 30 minutes. When the mass cools strain it and add the rum. Pour liquor in glass bottles.

Brandy with cornelian cherry home recipe

You need:
  • Cornelian cherry
  • sugar,
  • plum brandy.

Preparation of brandy:
