Acne on the face; treatment – general rules
  • Care should be taken to the extreme cleanliness: do not squeeze the pimples with dirty fingers but with clean hands, only after you have done that clean with facial steam.
  • Use a clean towel every day.
  • Wash only with mild neutral soap and do not use any cosmetics to cover the face.
  • You should not eat too much fatty foods, sweets and heavy dishes. Food with plenty of fruits and vegetables is good for you since it contains a lot of fiber. But do not overdo it.
  • Herbal teas promote good metabolism in the body, a daily steamy bath cleans and alleviates inflammation.
  • Try to avoid various supplements, especially Iodine, since it makes the situation worse. 
  • Avoid damp environment and reduce your stay in it as it worsens the condition of the skin in general. 
  • As much as possible, try not to sweat too much, because in this way it also activates acne on the face.
  • Be exposed to the sun at least 30 minutes a day, and staying in the fresh air and natural light will help your skin. Do not overdo it. 

Treatment of acne - tea for acne 

This medicinal tea stimulates metabolism in the body. You need:
  • 30 grams of walnut leaves 
  • 20 grams of pansies root (plant day and night)
  • 20 grams of dandelion root 
  • 10 grams of marigold flower

Preparation: take 2 teaspoons of the mixture and cover with 1/4 liters of boiling water. Leave it to stand for ten minutes. Drink three times a day one cup after meals.

Tea mixture for acne on the face
  • 20 grams of flowers and leaves of calendula
  • 20 grams of horsetail

Make a tea mixture and 1 tablespoon of the mixture and pour 2 dl of boiling water. Strain liquid and leave the tea to cool down. Use cotton swabs or a sterile gauze. Two to three times a day during the day slightly apply on the acne. The herbal drops for the treatment of acne also stimulate metabolism in the body. Application: Stir equal parts of the following ingredients: tincture of dandelion, daisies and tincture of calendula. Dilute 3 times daily 15 drops with a little water and take it immediately prior to eating.
Steam bath cleanser
  • Mix the flowers of chamomile, the leaves of rosemary, lavender, arnica and walnuts.
  • Take 1 to 3 tablespoons of this mixture and heat until it boils in a liter of water.
  • Move from the heat and keep on the face 10 to 15 minutes over the steam.
  • At the end apply water with witch hazel (Virginian walnut) -This powerful oxidant reduces inflammation, and has a gripping effect and speeds up healing.

Bath for acne on the face with chamomile and yarrow
  • Take 2 tablespoons of the mixture and cover with 1 liter of boiling water.
  • Move from the heat and keep your face for 15 minutes over the steam.

The lotion for acne on the face with yarrow; application:
  • Three tablespoons of herbs pour with 1/4 liter of boiling water and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  • Inflamed site is then cleaned with lukewarm tea.

Thyme lotion for cleaning the face; application:
  • Three tablespoons of herbs pour with 1/4 liter of boiling water.
  • Allow it to stand for 10 minutes and then soak the inflamed site or put compresses soaked in the solution.
