* snack: one slice of toast, one spoonful of cheese and one plum
* diner: make 200 grams of blue eggplant salad, without mayonnaise and oil added

Tuesday:

* breakfast: one slice of wheat bread, two spoons of marmalade, coffee with milk (without sugar or any other sweetener)
* lunch: 100 grams of fried turkey, up to 200 grams of cooked cauliflower, cabbage salad ( 150 grams) spiced with lemon juice, one apple
* snack: 2dl of squeezed orange juice, healthy nibbles
* dinner: spaghetti with tomatoe sauce (up to 200 grams), cooked green beans (100 grams), cooked carrot (200 grams)
Wednesday:

* breakfast: healthy cereals around 100 grams and low-fa yogurt (50 grams)
* lunch: 100 grams of fried turkey, grilled mushrooms ( 100 grams), cooked spinach - 150 grams
* snack: two slices of wheat bread and two spoons of cheese
* dinner: lightly salted beef (120 grams), fresh green salad (100 grams), 3 fresh tomatoes

Thursday:

* breakfast: 5 salty crackers, one spoonful of cheese, one cup of tea (without sugar)
* lunch: 200 grams of sauerkraut, cooked celery, 200 grams of cucumber, fresh green salad (200 grams), 1 grapefruit
* snack: tost and marmalade ( two spoonfuls and two slices)
* dinner: 100 grams of fried fish, 200 of cooked asparagus, 30 grams of mozzarella

Friday:

* breakfast: 2 dl of milk with whole grain cereals ( 50 grams)
* lunch: 200 grams of rice with 50 grams of tuna, 200 grams of cooked carrots and 450 grams of cooked spinach
* snack: low-fat yogurt ( 50 grams) and 100 grams of cereals
* dinner: 120 grams of fried chicken, cabbage salad (100 grams) with lemon juice and 50 grams of cooked mushrooms

Saturday: 

* breakfast: 2 slices of toast with two spoons of marmalade, coffee with milk ( without sugar)
* lunch: 200 grams of cooked corn, 200 grams of red cabbage salad, 200 grams of carrots
* snack: a slice of wheat bread, one spoonful of cheese, 2 dl of fresh squeezed natural juice
* dinner: 120 grams of lamb roast, 200 grams of spinach, one peach

Sunday:

* breakfast: 5 salty crackers, a spoonful of cheese, a cup of sugar-free tea
* lunch: carrots (200 grams) and tomato sauce, 30 grams of mozzarella, light yogurt ( with a lower fat percentage )
* snack: coffee with milk without sugar
* dinner: 3 slices of turkey ham, 200 grams of cooked carrots, 100 grams of cooked green beans

The 1200 calories diet is made with the purpose to provide us with the needed amount of vitamins and
minerals. We need to take in atleast 2 liters of liquid per day, its best to drink plain water, ten minutes before and after every meal. This rule goes for all the other drinks aswell, although when you drink juices, pay attention that they don't include sugar in them. The best choice are natural juices.
You need to consume fish atleast three times a week, because it contains very important omega 3 acids. Also because calorie counting is very important in this diet, it is recommended that you get yourself a precise scale for the weighing of every grocerie, so as a manual with the enlisted calorie values of specific food types.
As it falls in the group of fast diets, the 1200 calorie diet will help you with the begining stages of loosing belly fat, but to achieve lasting results, you need to entirely change your feeding habbits and life style, it is then that you will be satisfied wit yourself, you will have much more energy and you will be more than ready for the challenges that await you every day.

The 1200 calorie diet cannot be extended more than a month, you can redo it only after a pause of 2 to 3 weeks.
